ANAHEIM — A police pursuit ended Tuesday night when a vehicle crashed into a building, injuring one of the people inside the car, authorities said.
The pursuit began about 6:20 p.m., Sept. 5, near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and East Street, said Kristina Hamm, spokeswoman for the Anaheim Police Department.
It is unknown at this time why the vehicle fled, Hamm said.
The pursuit ended about 7 p.m. with the vehicle crashing into the Quality Market, 629 S. Anaheim Blvd.
Three people were taken into custody and one person was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries, Hamm said.
There is significant damage to the market, but no injuries to people inside were reported, Hamm said.
The investigation is ongoing.
