Michigan offered four-star guard Mark “Rocket” Watts earlier this week, along with Clarkston big man Taylor Currie. Currie committed the same day, becoming Michigan’s first pledge for 2019.

Weems — a 6-foot-6, 211-pounder — is the No. 2-ranked prospect in the state, behind Carman-Ainsworth’s Terry Armstrong.

Weems is currently participating in the FIBA Americas U16 tournament for Team USA in Argentina.
