BATON ROUGE – The LSU men’s basketball team will be on display prior to Saturday’s LSU-Auburn football game as they practice on the floor of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center from Noon to 12:45 p.m.
The event will be held as part of the Tiger Athletic Foundation Tailgate Party. Coach Will Wade will address the crowd and the team will go through various drills.
While the event is part of the normal pregame TAF Tailgate Party, the general public can enter the event by showing the graphic regarding the practice on Twitter or Instagram @LSUBasketball or on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/LSUBasketball.
They may show the graphic on a mobile device or print it out and bring it to one of two points of entrance for the open practice – the Southwest Ramp (closest to Mike’s Habitat) or the Northwest Stairs (on the Bernie Moore Track side of the PMAC). The Clear Bag policy will be in effect for the open practice inside the Maravich Center.
Beverages and food are available for purchase inside the Maravich Center during the practice and TAF Tailgate Party. Fans will be allowed to stay in the Maravich Center after the practice for a performance by the Golden Band from Tigerland immediately following the practice.
Season tickets are still on sale for the 2017-18 season, starting at only $100. Log-on to LSUTix.net. The Tigers open the 2017-18 season on Friday, Nov. 10, against Alcorn State in the Maravich Center.
