LSU Says No NCAA Violation Occurred Regarding Ed Orgeron Claims by Hal Mumme

June 16, 2017

LSU has denied head football coach Ed Orgeron is in violation of NCAA rules regarding satellite camps.

On Thursday, LSU’s senior associate athletic director overseeing compliance, Bo Bahnsen, told The Advocate‘s Ross Dellenger that “I do not see anything where there was any violation of any NCAA rule that would prohibit us from talking to other schools about working their satellite camps.”

This comes after Belhaven University head coach Hal Mumme said during an interview with Justin Nails of 99.1 The Game he reported Orgeron to the NCAA “in regards to camp blocking.”
