Gator Tales 106: Surprising Losses, VB Hosts, Grantham

December 7, 2017

Our latest episode of Gator Tales takes a close look at the UF men’s basketball team’s recent slide, the Gators volleyball team’s NCAA Tournament prospects, and more on new UF defensive coordinator Todd Grantham.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida men’s basketball team ascended into the top five following its tremendous performance in Portland at the PK80.

That seems a long time ago today.

It’s been a difficult week for the Gators with surprising home losses to FSU and Loyola-Chicago. On the flip side, things are going quite smoothly for the Gators volleyball team as it cruised through the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament. The Gators are preparing to host the Sweet 16 and face UCLA on Friday night.

On this week’s Gator Tales podcast, host Adam Schick focuses on both of those stories, the latest in UF football, and more in a roundtable discussion with FloridaGators.com senior writers Chris Harry and Scott Carter (1:09).

Also, Adam chats with volleyball’s senior libero Caroline Knop about the Gators’ pursuit of history (25:39).
