Notre Dame and Wisconsin will reportedly announce Monday that they have agreed to a college football series which will be hosted by Lambeau Field in 2020 and Soldier Field in 2021, according to Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune.
The two football powerhouses last met in 1964.
Per Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the news conference will take place at 11:30 a.m. CT at the Under Armour Brand House in Chicago. Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez, Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick and Green Bay Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy will be in attendance.
According to Greenstein, Notre Dame is 10-0-2 all time at Soldier Field, while Wisconsin last played there in 2011 against NIU.
The Badgers played at Lambeau Field in 2016, beating LSU at the home of the Packers, 16-14.
“It was neat for our players playing in Lambeau,” Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst said during the Big Ten meetings, per Potrykus. “That was a good experience.”
