ANN ARBOR – One of the top 2017 players in Michigan will make his commitment on Thursday and Michigan and Michigan State are both in the mix.
Corey Malone-Hatcher, a four-star defensive end from St. Joseph High School, announced via Twitter Monday night that he’ll make his decision at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at his school. He tweeted a graphic that had his top 10 schools: Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama, Ohio State, Tennessee, UCLA, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Penn State.
Malone-Hatcher, 6-foot-3 and 246 pounds, is the No. 17 weak-side defensive end, No. 6 player in Michigan and No. 247 recruit overall for the 2017 class, according to 247 Sports Composite rankings.
