Homecoming Game Against Northwestern on Oct. 15 Set for 3:30 p.m. Start

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State’s 2016 Homecoming game against Northwestern on Saturday, Oct. 15 in Spartan Stadium has been set for a 3:30 p.m. start, the Big Ten Conference announced on Wednesday. The TV network will be determined at a later date.

MSU hosted its 100th Homecoming last season, defeating Purdue, 24-21, on Oct. 3.

Michigan State is 66-31-3 (.675) in 100 Homecoming games, including an 8-1 record under Mark Dantonio. MSU is 4-1 against Northwestern on Homecoming (won in 1964, 1965, 1988 and 2009; lost in 2005).
