BATON ROUGE – The LSU gymnastics team will hold the fifth Gymnastics 101 showcase event at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, inside the Maravich Center. The event is free and gives fans a chance to get a preview of the 2018 squad.

The event serves as an exhibition meet because the team will run through lineups and perform routines on all four events. A judge will also be on the floor to score routines. Head coach D-D Breaux, associate head coach Jay Clark and assistant coach Bob Moore will be on the mic to give fans a rundown of the routines.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and team posters and meet programs will be available at all entrances. Season ticket holders will be able to pick up their 2018 “Holy Cow” t-shirts using their vouchers. T-shirts will be at portal C on the south side of the concourse near the ticket office.

Season Tickets Still Available
Although the program surpassed 5,000 season ticket holders, tickets for all six home meets are still available. Season tickets will be available for purchase behind section 210 in the arena. Tickets begin at $30 for adults and $18 for youth ages 3-12.

Geaux Clear Reminder
Fans are also reminded of LSU’s “Geaux Clear” policy that is in effect at all athletic venues. The policy allows for only clear tote bags smaller than 12” x 6” x 12” or one-gallon plastic freezer bags to be permitted. Bags must be clear and transparent and cannot be tinted, textured or patterned. For full details on the policy, please visit www.LSUSports.net/GeauxClear.

Parking Updates
Many lots around the Maravich Center are free and open to the public, including 101, 104 and 105. North Stadium Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 4:30 p.m. Lots 201 and 300 off of North Stadium Drive will be reserved. ADA parking has also been relocated to lot 300 in an effort to relocate the lot closer to the PMAC.

101 to be Streamed Online
Gym 101 will also be streamed at WatchESPN.com for fans not able to make it to the Maravich Center. Lyn Rollins, Lori Strong-Ballard and Kaleigh Abboud will have the call for SEC Network+.

Fans can follow the Tigers on the team’s social media channels: @LSUgym on Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, www.Facebook.com/lsugym and at YouTube.com/lsugymnastics.
