EUGENE, Oregon – LSU senior golfer Elise Bradley posted a 3-over par 75 in the second round Saturday of the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship to stand at 3-over 147 halfway through the medal competition at the Eugene Country Club.
There will be a third round of medal play on Sunday before the field is cut to the top 15 teams and the top nine who are not on those 15 teams looking to advance to Monday’s final round of medal play that will determine the individual national championship.
Bradley is tied for 54th in the field of 132 entering Sunday’s round.
The Mandeville LSU graduate opened her day on the 10th hole with a bogey and then after a birdie on the par 5 15th, double bogeyed the par 3 16th to turn at 2-over 37.
On the front nine, her final nine holes of the round, Bradley opened with a double bogey on one, but came back with a couple of birdies finishing with a 1-over 38 on that nine.
Dewi Weber of Miami posted a 6-over 66 in the second round to stand at 9-under par 135 (69-66) and in the individual lead.
