The Amazing Race As the final four teams contend for a spot  in the finale, a high-stakes foot race marks the end of another team’s travels. 8 p.m. CBS

The Vampire Diaries Series regular Paul Wesley directs this new episode as his character Stefan has to come to terms with his strained relationship with Caroline (Candice King) when she faces new danger. 8 p.m. KTLA

Hawaii Five-0 Elliott Gould guest stars a the father of Gerard Hirsch (Willie Garson). Julie Benz continues her guest role. Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan and Grace Park star. 9 p.m. CBS

Blue Bloods  As the city is rocked by public protest over the aftermath of a police shooting captured on video. The officer involved is let off by a grand jury, which intensifies the general outcry — and possibly causing more violence. Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez star with guest star Christina Vidal guest stars. 10 p.m. CBS

Banshee With help from Lucas (Antony Starr), Dawson (Eliza Dushku) is able to narrow her search for a person of interest in her serial murder investigation. 10 p.m. Cinemax

Wynonna Earp Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) hunts down one of the Revenants who was responsible for the deadly attack on the Earp homestead some 15 years ago, while her sister (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) unravels a lingering mystery that was left behind by Uncle Curtis. Tim Rozon also stars. 10 p.m. Syfy


Adele in New York City This re-edited telecast adds five more songs from the international superstar singer-songwriter. 8 p.m. NBC


Brand: A Second Coming Writer-director Ondi Timoner’s 2015 documentary portrait of Russell Brand explores how this once-troubled youth from Essex, England, pursued happiness via drugs, sex and fame enabled by his rock-star comedy persona, then transforms himself from a comic and actor into a social and political activist.  9 p.m. Showtime
