Ricky Doyle has found a new home.
And it resides in the Atlantic Sun.
Doyle, a former Michigan center who transferred from the program in late March, announced his decision to play his final two seasons at Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday.
A Florida native, Doyle will have to sit out next season before being eligible to finish his last two years.
After a promising start to his career as a freshman in 2014-15, Doyle — 6-9, 250 — slumped during his sophomore campaign a year ago, averaging just 3.8 points and 2 rebounds.
Doyle also struggled with sleep apnea, asthma and depression.
Doyle played 67 of a possible 68 in his Michigan career, making 30 starts and averaging 4.9 points and 2.5 rebounds.
He was one of four players to transfer from Michigan’s program this offseason, joining Aubrey Dawkins, Kam Chatman and Spike Albrecht.
