A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Friday afternoon three miles from Cobb, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:57 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.2 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 12 miles from Clearlake, Calif., 14 miles from Healdsburg, Calif., 19 miles from Windsor, Calif. and 71 miles from Sacramento.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
