D'Onta Foreman's attorney releases statement on arrest

Former Texas running back D’Onta Foreman was arrested early Sunday morning on several charges, according to several reports, including marijuana possession and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

After media reports surfaced, Foreman’s attorney released a full statement to Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman.

Foreman, a Texas City native, has spent this summer with the Texans and recently finalized a four-year deal worth $3.25 million.

The Texans public relations department said on Twitter on Sunday that it was aware of the incident and is “gathering additional information and will have no further comment.”
